Maestro al cembalo

The maestro al cembalo major trains students to work as continuo conductors of instrumental and/or vocal ensembles, in the field of historical performance. 

Conducting an early music ensemble is very different from traditional orchestral conducting. This is specifically covered by the maestro al cembalo course, which is provided by the Early Music department.
