Graduates are generalists who can often play several instruments and have appropriate teaching skills.

Graduates who have received additional teacher training at one of the Swiss teaching training colleges can apply to teach music at Swiss secondary schools. Graduates who have received additional teacher training (DAS in art and sports disciplines for primary schools: visual arts, music, eurhythmics and physical education) at the University of Geneva’s University Teacher Training Institute (IUFE) can apply to teach music in Geneva primary schools.
