Mixed Music Composition
The composition of mixed electroacoustic music course trains students for careers as composers of mixed electroacoustic works, using acoustic instruments and technological means of processing and synthesising sound signals.
The course also covers knowledge of information technology, giving young graduates access to various kinds of career even in fields that are not directly linked to music, such as dance or theatre (e.g. motion capture, analysis algorithm programming, light processing, sound spatialisation and computer-assisted stage design).
This fairly broad field includes composition of instrumental or mixed electroacoustic music, research or programming, composition and performance of electronic music, and teaching of music-related technologies.
