FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below are the answers to the questions most frequently asked by students about studying at the Geneva University of Music. Additional information can be obtained from the study office: admission.hem@hesge.ch.
The HEM does not have a hall of residence, but its students can make use of various types of student accommodation, including the Foyer Champel, Foyer Dassier and the Foyer Dumas. The geloge foundation offers several accomodations to students from hautes écoles in Geneva, including the HEM : www.geloge.ch
The HEM does not provide insurance cover, but students can apply to the Pôle Santé Social (Social Health Centre) at the University of Geneva http://www.unige.ch/buis/
The students of the HEM are federated in an association, ADEHEM, which can be registered for an annual fee. Its purpose is to defend - as far as possible - the students' interests with the management. The Committee is elected by the students each year.

Students are responsible to book their room personally, via internet only. Reservations are possible until two days beforehand, every evening from 9 PM.
