The result of three years of work, Montage. Une anthologie (1913 – 2018) (“Editing. An Anthology (1913 – 2018)”), published jointly by HEAD – Genève and MAMCO offers 94 source and reference texts for researchers, professionals and students in the field of film theory and practice. Each text has been selected, edited, introduced and retranslated when necessary. The idea being to provide a unique toolbox that includes Eisenstein and Tarkovsky, Wiseman and Van der Keuken, Bazin and Daney, Deleuze and Agamben. Finally, some ten thematic rhizomes based on chosen words connect these texts, inviting the reader to browse and discover the book.
